Tenant Based Rental Assistance
Drug Court/HOPE Court

LHA in partnership with Cowlitz County Drug Court/HOPE Court will provide tenant based rental assistance (TBRA) to 3 participants in Cowlitz County Drug CourtDrug Court/HOPE Court within the city limits of Longview, Washington. Eligibility is determined and all families are referred by the Cowlitz County Drug Court/HOPE Court. This TBRA program will offer supportive transitional housing opportunities to families who are successfully participating in Drug Court/HOPE Court.

All services are designed to offer the most supportive environment possible to increase the likelihood of success for participants. Drug Court/HOPE Court staff will monitor participation in supportive services and participants will be required to be actively working on long-term goals for success. After a maximum of 12 months of TBRA participation, and if funding is available, clients will be transitioned to the Section 8 Voucher program.

Drug Court/HOPE Court maintains a waiting list for this program and determines suitability of clients for the program. Eligible families are referred to LHA.
