Lewis County TBRA
LHA in partnership with the (Lewis County) Salvation Army, Human Response Network, Reliable Enterprises, Lewis County Shelter Program, Cascade Mental Health and Providence Recovery will provide tenant based rental assistance (TBRA) with supportive services to homeless and/or chronic homeless Lewis County, Washington State. Eligibility is determined and all families are referred by the partner agencies.
Services provided by partners are designed to offer the most supportive environment possible to increase the likelihood of success for participants. The long term goal will typically be to assist households in establishing systems for self-sufficiency and freedom from the need for continued social services.
Partner staff will monitor participation in supportive services. After completion of a year to maximum of 18 months of TBRA participation, and if funding is available, clients will be transitioned to the Section 8 Voucher program.
Lewis County Social Services maintains a waiting list for this program and will determine the overall suitability of clients for the program Eligible families are referred to LHA.
