Mr. Ostermiller has served on the board since 1982. Mr. Ostermiller earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Portland in Oregon. He is self employed.
Bruce Fischer - Chairman
Mr. Fischer was appointed to the board in August 2006. He retired from Microsoft in 1998 in order to be an at home dad. He has personal rental properties and has been active in housing issues since 1991 and was a founding officer of Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor. Mr. Fischer has a Bachelorís degree in Business from the University of Washington.
Mr. Swanson was appointed to the board in 2011. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University and Vermont Law School. He is a Senior Policy Analyst for Clark County.
Mrs. Brigham was appointed a Resident Commissioner to the Board in 2011. She volunteers for many community agencies. Currently she is involved with Free Community (since 2008), she and is Chairman of the Longview Anti-Drug Coalition and she volunteers with the Asthma Outreach Program (formerly Healthy Homes) since 2009. She was a founding officer for the Longview Highlands Neighborhood Association. She is trained for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) since 2005. She has also started in 1998 and continues to maintain Black Watch for her neighborhood by doing a newsletters with information of what is going on concerning the block and in the community. She also plans a once a year block party for National Night Out.
Ms. Sarancik was appointed to the board in 2012. She is the Coordinator of our local Legal Aid Program. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in English from UCLA and is currently pursuing a law degree.She had a 22 year career in the building materials industry at various corporate and store-level management positions.She has been on the Board of several local organizations.
